Welcome new 1st years!!!!


Firstly welcome all the new in coming 1st years, I hope you have by now settled into new phase of school life and have meet new friends along the way.
During this term we will look at the "elements" of Art, craft and design. These elements are: texture, line, pattern, tone, space/form, and colour. During your taster in Art we will explore these elements and create some beautiful art work along the way. Below are some examples from previous years.

Choose one or two sketches from the facial drawings below and copy into your sketchpads. Pay close attention to tone, proportion,  etc. Use your range of pencils from 2b to 6b to achieve different shades and tones.
